- Orchid eBound Starter is free up to 100 acquisitions a year. Past that, Essentials is $25 a month month-to-month or $240 a year for up to 1,000 (as of Sep 25, 2026).
- FastBound starts at $9 a month with a 14-day trial (as of Sep 25, 2026). It's a strong choice when you want an A&D book alongside a POS you already use.
- Logbooks for Guns starts at $8 a month for 100 entries a year, with a 30-day trial (as of Sep 25, 2026).

Best for storefronts that want POS

- FFL-BRO runs from $79 a month for Essentials; POS, including gun show use, is on the $249 PRO plan, and Enterprise starts at $499+ a month (as of Sep 25, 2026).
- Orchid POS starts at $99 a month for Spark, with standalone POS plans at $150 and $200 a month; Orchid says an onboarding fee applies to those two plans but doesn't publish the amount (as of Sep 25, 2026).
- FFL Boss offers an FFL Boss + POS bundle at $174 a month (as of Sep 25, 2026).
- Celerant publishes general retail POS pricing from $125 a month up to $499 a month with eCommerce and range (as of Sep 25, 2026). Firearms compliance isn't priced separately; ask Celerant how it handles the A&D book and 4473.
- AIM POS and Rapid Gun Systems don't publish prices. Both quote individually.

Best one-time option
FFL Command Center is sold as a Windows license: $1,700 one-time for Lifetime, with no required monthly fee, optional feature updates at $250 a year, or $175 a month if you'd rather pay monthly. New licensees can get the New FFL Starter at $1,950 with remote setup. Lifetime and Deluxe licenses carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. One license covers electronic bound book software, electronic 4473 software, gun store POS, inventory and a dealer website, and the core works with no internet. Who it isn't for: multi-location chains, and Mac-only shops. It runs on Windows 10 and 11 only for now. Mac version coming. It doesn't submit NICS checks or file eForms. If a free bound book and 4473 tool covers what you do, buy that instead.
