Run Your Cerakote Business Inside Your Dealer System
Take coating quote requests from your website, track every job from intake to delivery, keep the send-out paperwork straight at each step, and market your finished work — all next to the inventory and compliance records you already keep in FFL Command Center.
The Cerakote Job Queue — Every Firearm, Every Status
Quote Requests From Your Website
A quote-request form on your site lets customers describe the job and pick colors and patterns. Every request lands in your job queue — no phone tag, no lost sticky notes.
Intake-to-Delivery Job Tracking
Each job moves through a clear pipeline: intake, send-out, return, delivery. You always know where every customer's firearm is and what stage the work is in.
Send-Out & Re-Acquisition Records
The workflow creates send-out and re-acquisition records at every step, so the paperwork trail follows the firearm through the whole coating job.
Customer Color & Pattern Picks
Customers choose colors and patterns when they request the quote, so the job arrives in your queue with the spec already attached.
Before-and-After Portfolio
Publish finished jobs to a portfolio gallery and let your best work sell the next job for you.
How a Coating Job Flows
The Applicator Tier — Included in the Module
If your shop sprays the coating itself, the module goes well past job tracking: it manages the coating as a material and the shop floor as a production line. All of it is part of the same Cerakote Workflow license, at the same posted price.
Coating Product Catalog
Every product your shop stocks, with the chemistry that decides the job: mix ratio, catalyst, pot life, cure temperature and time, target film thickness, and a link to your SDS. Add products by hand or import your list from CSV.
Stock Lots With Expiration Control
Coating is received by lot with an expiration date. Consumption is first-in-first-out from the oldest usable lot, expiring lots are flagged ahead of time, and an expired lot can only be used with an explicit, documented override — never by accident.
Lot-to-Job Traceability
Every gram logged against a job records which lot it came from. If a finish ever comes back, you can answer "which can did that come from, and what else did we spray with it" from the record, not from memory.
Cure-Batch Records
Each oven run is recorded — oven, temperature, minutes — and the jobs cured in it are linked to the batch. When a customer asks how their part was cured, the answer is on file.
Shop-Floor Stage Board
Every in-house job on one board, by stage: disassembly, degrease, blast, mask, coat, cure, QC, reassembly. Techs move jobs with one click; anyone can see what's where.
QC, Defects & Warranty Redos
Jobs pass or fail QC with a recorded defect reason. A redo spins up a linked ticket — flagged as warranty work when it's on the house — so redo rates and their causes stay visible instead of vanishing into rework.
A shop color catalog so "Burnt Bronze" is spelled one way everywhere · customer color history ("the same color as last year" is one glance) · a vendor scorecard with turnaround and spend per coater · batch shipments with one tracking number and a combined manifest · job photo galleries on every ticket · a posted price list so every quote matches.
The one-time license pays for itself in 13 months, then it's yours with no recurring bill.
Optional add-on to any FFL Command Center plan. Ships switched off — enable it when you're ready to take coating work.
Cerakote Shop Package
The full core system plus Cerakote Workflow, ProShot, and CRM. Bought separately it's $3,149; packaged, you save $654.
Built for the FFL whose business is the coating work itself. Taking in a customer's firearm is an ATF acquisition: the core writes the bound-book entry at intake and the disposition at return, with no 4473 needed when the firearm goes back to its owner. Deluxe at $3,095 adds a custom domain, 2 years of hosting, and remote setup.
Cerakote Module FAQ
Can customers request Cerakote quotes from my website?
Yes. The module adds a quote-request form to your website where customers describe the job and pick colors and patterns. Each request lands directly in your job queue inside FFL Command Center.
Does it keep records when a firearm goes out for coating?
Yes. The workflow creates send-out and re-acquisition records at every step of the job, so the paperwork trail moves with the firearm from intake to send-out to return.
Can I show off finished work?
Yes. A before-and-after portfolio gallery lets you publish finished jobs to market your coating work to future customers.
Is the Cerakote module included in the FFL Command Center license?
It is an optional add-on module: $39 per month on the Monthly Plan, or $499 one-time with a Lifetime license. It ships switched off and only appears when you enable it.
Is there a package for shops that do the Cerakote work themselves?
Yes. The Cerakote Shop Package bundles the full core system with the Cerakote Workflow, ProShot, and CRM modules for $2,495 one-time or $225 per month, saving $654 versus buying the pieces separately. Because taking in a customer's firearm for coating is an ATF acquisition, the core's bound book records the intake and the return on every job. A Deluxe option at $3,095 adds a custom domain, hosting, and remote setup.
Do I need an FFL to Cerakote customer firearms?
Generally yes: taking in a customer's firearm for coating work that keeps it beyond the same day is gunsmithing under federal law, which requires a dealer FFL, and each intake is an ATF acquisition with a matching disposition when the firearm goes back. FFL Command Center writes both bound-book entries automatically and needs no 4473 when the firearm returns to its owner. This is general information, not legal advice; confirm your licensing requirements with the ATF or your attorney.
Does it track my coating inventory, cure schedules, and QC?
Yes. The applicator tier, included in the module, keeps a product catalog with mix ratios, pot life, cure temperature and time, and film-thickness targets; receives coating by lot with expiration dates and first-in-first-out consumption (an expired lot needs an explicit, documented override); records which lot went on which job; logs every oven run as a cure batch linked to its jobs; runs a shop-floor stage board from disassembly to reassembly; and records QC pass/fail with defect reasons and linked warranty redo tickets.
